So Kit's half time team talk after conceding a goal just before half time was "more of the same and keep running beyond them". Well any fool will tell you that when a team scores just before half time they are going to come at you from the off in the second half. To me that means a team talk that involves keeping it tight, remain concentrated and revert back to plan A after 20 minutes if we are still in the game.
When is Kit going to realise it is a game of TWO halves??? If we play well in only one half then we have an evens chance of losing or drawing - it's not rocket science. This is now becoming as bad as watching Magaths daft tactics and I for one have had enough to be honest. I don't care how many managers we have had in the last 18 months Kit HAS TO GO!!!!
And before some clever dick writes that I wanted him as Manager I can absolutely assure you that is not the case. I always thought it was a mistake and that we should have gone for Pulis. Now we are paying the price of frugality!! |

Not sure why the word d 1 ck was asterixed. Never thought clever d 1 ck would be offensive - have we gone from one extreme on fulhamweb to another on here :-)))

It seems there is some built in language control but to be honest I think it's a good thing after the idiots we had to put up with before... One thing though: What if your name was Richard I wonder if it would allow a shortening of that as a moniker?

Earlier on here I mentioned I was going to try and remain chilled out as we are where we deserve to be.
Since then I am consumed by one burning question, do FFC have any coaching staff who know what they are doing?
Earlier in the season being a glass half empty man I hoped we would finish half way. I am now concerned that we are less than two wins above the relegation zone!
When Kit started we were getting points in matches where we had less possession and chances but were scoring more goals. Things have now averaged out still with less possession and chances but now LESS goals.
Opposition managers must love playing Fulham as they know exactly how we will play and that if they pressurise us we will give the ball away.
Against Bolton any other manager would have tried to strengthen the midfield after it was obvious we were being overrun ten minutes into the second half. Ki's alarm clock is set for 65 minutes by which time it was too late.
A decent coaching staff would stop petty free kicks being given away near the box, the latest being Birmingham, which with our inept defence leads to goals conceded.
Yet again, last night against Bolton, we go berserk charging forward near the end and leave ourselves open to another goal. At one goal behind we have a chance at two behind no hope. The Championship is decided over the season and goals against tally may be vitally important.
Finally, we all want to see good football but our midfield and defence are not strong enough to play so many forward players. We have got to strengthen our midfield with players who have desire and determination to win. Teams like Wolves, last night, get in front and are then able to shut the match down and get the points. If we do not change our cavalier approach next season we will be known for playing wonderful attacking football in Skybet 1.

AS observed by many, there is no plan B or C.Very glad that Ruiz is still with Fulham,without him relegation would be a real possibility.

I downloaded a swearing .csv (excel sheet) that I used for this. It's a general code that ProBoards forums follow including the football ones. Basically anything that's not in the list is fine. So to say fulham are shit is completely fine, not least because it's the most apt description of ffc this season possible using the english language. I'll make changes to the swearing filter. The legend that is David ***inson won't be able to feature on this site, so clearly it needs editing. Give me 5 minutes. . . . . Done. Now there are only a couple banned. No prizes for guessing which ones. |

one thing we need to stop is backing up in and around our box. Stop their wingers receiveing the balls early.As soon as they come over the halfway line start standing on them. Our back line must come out and up a lot faster.Then our midfield pushes up Front line does as well. play the the game in their half not ours.And when we get free kicks or corners in their eighteen yard box spread out.This all lets all huddle aint working.If it aint working change it.If they get a corner pull two of ours out and put them up the park .Then they must take at least three to cover it With the fast ball out we out number them.We must think what the others are not just look at WATFORDS first goal . The ball went under our wall .We have to rethink the way we play -------------------------------------------------------------

I think Kit has done a decent job with the current bunch. Under Felix Magath we picked up 1 point from out first 6 games. Those 6 games have defined our season. We are in a relegation battle. I believe if we stay in the championship that will be job done for Kit. We can start fresh next season with better players (open the check book Mr Khan) and a more experienced manager. The only issue I have is which manager will come to Fulham? The 5 man panel we have to choose the manager need to get rid!

Valentine's Day at The Cottage, I am hoping to love the result at the final whistle. We are due a win, and need a win, let's hope the team give their all today, give us supporters something to cheer about. I agree with Derek if we stay in the championship it will be job done for Kit, it was never going to be easy for anyone taking over from Magath. Let's hope we stop the slide today, won't be an easy game, but then none of them are. COYW
