Just to say that I'm shocked it's pretty much sold out!
No joke, are brentford fans buying up seats in our home stands?
Or is it genuinely going to be a capacity crowd this friday....like fulham vs man utd in the premier league
Anyway, 100% hope we take them to the cleaners, but something (a million and one things) tells me that might not happen!

I have to admit that I worry about this game. We are so vulnerable at the back no matter who plays it seems and they are such a good counter attacking team that we could see another Leeds type performance. I really hope not because it would be nice to at least have some bragging rites this season. I fear the worst and hope for the best...

If the new loanees are playing perhaps we stand a better chance? On the subject of loanees, is Danny Guthrie any relation to our classic old centre forward Chris Guthrie? The ages seem to work and I think both are from the North East which is what made me ask/

I can't find any link or relationship on line so I assume not...

What a shame, he was a terrific header of the ball and an absolute menace to defenses.

By the end of today's game I was hoping brentford would thump us even more.
Just amazing to think back to under two years ago when Fayed sold the club. We were giving some of the biggest clubs in the world a run for their money when they visited us at the cottage. And it was like that for years with Man utd, who admittedly never liked playing us at our ground.
If Khan's a man, he has to take full responsibility for the total collapse since then. Our team probably isn't even good enough for league 1, and that's before the summer where we'll most likely see inferior players coming inplace of those leaving. I guess the local council would be happy when khan gets the go ahead to make houses, like he was born to do. So no one is going to stop him.
Ultimately, Shahid Khan is a complete disgrace.

It was madness to sack an entire Premier squad. People like Brede would have done well in this division and would have cared. David Stockwell loved this club and Steve Sidwell always tried. We will have years to regret the madness that went on in the three months between seasons.

What a disaster! losing to the bees is one thing, but getting thumped 4-1 at home is a humiliation. The less we speak about the game the better. The games against Wigan and Rotherham will be the defining moments in our season. If we lose both these games against our fellow relegation candidates we are playing league one football next season.
