I'm not a lover of meaningless international friendly games but in my opinion, on this occasion, I think if England are to do well at the Euros they need these games against strong opposition in order to prepare properly. So often we have played third world countries (in football terms) in preparation for a tournament only to be disappointed and hopefully this regime will ensure a little more success. In terms of FFC, I think the break will do us good and give Jokanovic time to prepare his team for one of the biggest games of his and their lives.
