MST, Keetch, I have had enough of Fulhamweb and I don't think this one is going to catch on. I would be happy to keep in touch with you guys, I am on Facebook if that's an option or if not and you would like to keep in touch we could exchange details in a personal message. That way when I visit the UK (if I'm allowed back in  ) we could meet for a beer before a match. If not, I completely understand, I will leave it to you guys. Cheers Hints |

MST you did a very good job on the other site, and yes this site has not really taken off! Have you thought about doing your own Fulham fc Facebook page? That way you could set it as invite only. Also YOU could pick your own team to keep an eye on the posts? And would be very easy to kick off the low life Scum that have spoiled other site!! I would do it but people don't really know me! Always reading other site but do not comment too often. And yes it's gone to rat 💩

Thanks for the compliments BW however, I did not set up this site I just tried to publicise it. I think it was one of the older FW visitors like Keetch or Baz or someone. If you go back through the history you could probably work it out. I'm afraid I don't do Facebook, never have and to be honest I dont get it because if I want to contact a friend I use e-mail, text, whatsapp or phone them;-). I've dabbled with Twitter but never really worked out how to get the best out of it but I do use Linked In regularly. Why don't you have a bash at it, it sounds like you know how ;-). On FW, I do keep an eye out every now and then but can't be bothered with moderating as I get fed up with the moaners and groaners who won't put themselves forward yet constantly criticise those who do and the other lot who can't use it properly and think their posts are being deleted when they've probably not even hit submit or something.

I have just contacted Fulham about the vile,racist & hateful crap that they allow on a so called family club message board! The other site has slumped to a new low in my eyes. All I want,is to be able to read and comment on our club and other football related stuff. It's not hard but the crap we have to troll through is unbelievable. I'm even happy to become a moderater and help sort site out. I'm very thick skinned so the abusers could be banned if it was made members only. As you're a moderater could you contact Admin and put this forward? If not I understand as you've put plenty of your time in already. I just want our site back. Supported Fulham for as long as I can remember. My brother-in-law is Maik Taylor so this club is very special to me…

I have no problem with contacting the administrators the problem is they never, ever come back. I have written countless times to ask them to pull me as a moderator but I never get a response. I have a feeling this is just a couple of guys who set up a small website 12 or more years ago and it has taken off beyond their wildest dreams. Ah Maik Taylor - the good old days. I don't think we did him proud after VDS came in, he was a good servant to the club. Glad he found a home at Brum.
On a separate note, from the things I am seeing Alan writing I think he has found a way of putting moderator in brackets against his moniker without actually being a moderator - some of his comments seem a little odd. Maybe I'm wrong and it's just me.
I'll write to the administrators in any case and see where it goes but don't hold your breath.....

MST I'm glad you said that about Alan I was thinking the same myself. I couldn't remember an Alan from before and some of his "moderator" posts are a bit weird, especially his last one at Geezer! BW, they offered me a chance to be a moderator but I declined on the basis there would be very few posts on the board for anyone to read! i would be horribly strict because I dislike much of what is said. MST did a great job but copped it from all sides which was very unfair I thought. MST what have you done to JJvol007? He really dislikes you! :-) :-)

Story of my life Hints - you can't please all the people any of the time on that particular board ;-)) Good job I have a thick skin. I must admit to throwing in a few grenades deliberately from time to time just for a reaction though. The one that really makes me laugh is that for weeks we read about why we should vote leave in the Brexit pole from all and sundry but the moment I put something tangible about remain I got slaughtered. You can tell a Fulham supporter but you can't tell him much:-)))

Yes the Alan posts are a bit off the beaten track… not sure about him? Only time will tell, MST don't worry about the lowlife scum that attack your good name. Me,I would just keep deleting them until they get fed up. Don't answer there insults as they seem to feed of your every response

I was thinking that if you registered as a member and made your moniker "Alan (Moderator)" that would work and knowing that the administrators don't keep much of an eye out you would get away with this for quite some time. It's amazing the lengths to which some people will go and quite inventive as well. On the other note I only respond to the trolls for my own amusement BW as I wrote; I have a very thick skin thankfully.

It wasn't me who set up this site, it was LB11, we never seem to hear from him now. I have been looking at FulhamWeb everyday but have deleted very few posts, maybe someone gets there not to long before me, if posts are getting deleted then someone is doing it. This site would be better but it just has not attracted, we have talked about why before. I became a mod on their site almost by accident and MST encouragement, the owners must have had a shock to see what had happened and asked for mods, MST put his name forward first. The comments do not bother me much as I have the delete button. I am not expecting much this season but I would really like to be wrong so COYW.
