Solid defense although Malone and Odoi look very average at crossing the ball.
MacDonald looked a class above everyone else. solid, calm and very level headed.
Tunnicliffe was rubbish.
Cairney is class but is asked to play too wide. Keeps drifting in and looks better in the hole behind Aluko but it sometimes gets too crowded there
Ayite looked promising but perhaps played on the wrong wing
Aluko will score goals if he can keep his interest and focus and
it seems to me the whole system was set up to avoid Matt Smith, who then showed his worth from set pieces but was never really given a chance otherwise.
That's my view for what it's worth.
